We are looking for a Senior Product Designer with a strong focus on UX research and field research to help improve a growing suite of mobile applications. You will translate firsthand insights from users into features that help field crews deliver energy more safely and efficiently.
This role spans mobile design, UX research, UX design, UI design, and user validation. You will collaborate closely with the existing design team on Inspect applications, building on research and prototypes already in progress and supporting the product through launch. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can manage stakeholder relationships, advocate for process improvements, and adapt to ongoing work.
Responsabilités
→ User Research & Field Insights
- Conduct user and field research to understand crews’ workflows, needs, and challenges.
- Apply user-centered research methodologies and metrics to guide design decisions.
- Organize, analyze, and interpret research data, translating findings into actionable recommendations.
- Present research findings to client, product, and engineering teams for review and feedback.
→ Mobile UX & UI Design
- Translate user needs into practical features and design solutions that support business goals.
- Improve existing prototypes and develop mobile experiences across UX and UI design.
- Validate designs with users and incorporate feedback into subsequent iterations.
- Support the UX design work needed to prepare the Inspect applications for launch.
→ Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate closely with the current designers while independently managing assigned work.
- Build and manage stakeholder relationships, communicating design decisions and advocating for process improvements.
- Adapt to projects already in progress, working within established context and incorporating new findings.
- Partner with Project Managers to plan work for effective delivery while maintaining high design standards.
→ Measurement & Continuous Improvement
- Analyze post-launch metrics to identify opportunities for optimization.
- Use research findings, user feedback, and product data to inform ongoing improvements.
- Manage multiple projects and design revisions while maintaining attention to detail.
Compétences souhaitées
- Familiarity with Salesforce.
- An academic background in anthropology.
- A portfolio showcasing end-to-end web or mobile product design across different business contexts, including polished, delivered products.
- Experience applying agile and lean approaches to problem-solving.
- Active engagement with the design community and awareness of current design trends.

A reasonable estimate of the current range for a Senior Product Designer is from $78 to $88 hourly.

Compétences requises
- Experience as a Product Designer with a strong emphasis on UX research.
- Hands-on experience conducting field research and translating user needs into business solutions.
- Strong understanding of UX design and research principles, lean processes, and methodologies.
- Ability to contribute across mobile UX design, UI design, prototyping, and user validation.
- Experience working with large amounts of data and organizing and interpreting findings for stakeholders.
- A user-centered, data-driven approach with an understanding of user, stakeholder, and business needs.
- Ability to independently manage work while collaborating closely with other designers and cross-functional teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills.
- Patience, adaptability, and commitment to working through evolving requirements and multiple revisions.
